Was the holidays funnnnnn?:/
I guess not, thanks to the assignments.
Being the blurblocks that we are, come on, I am going to remind you all on what has to be done during our short term break.
Number One:
[MATH] Study for Maths MST which falls on the first Wednesday when school reopens.
Number Two:
[DVDE] Pick 5 best pics that you took on the Sungei Buloh field trip. Those who didn't go for the trip, pleaaaaaase make an effort to go Botanic Gardens or something to take pics.
DON'T go to neighbourhood parks. Go to somewhere that you are able to take proper nature pictures.
Dear All DVDE Students,
I believe you have a fruitful photography trip to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. After hours of tutorial lessons in class about handling and taking good photograph, finally each and everyone get a chance to have a hand-on.
It was a hot and humid morning and the trail is filled with many living creatures from paradise tree snake, squirrel, butterfly, preying mantis, grasshopper, sunbird, mudskipper to water monitor lizard...just to name a few. Each student i believe was able to in one way or another captured the subject that interests them most. We tested and discovered how macro can deliver such wonderful details where the naked eyes can't see.
What you need to do now is to select minimum 5 of the best images you captured during the trip. You can use Photoshop to help you in basic colour adjustment using the curves or level before presenting it. Marks will be awarded (10 marks will be credited into DVDE at the end of the semester) and the best image from each class will received a special gift from me.
You will need to submit the images to us when the school start next week. A critique session will be conducted during the tutorial lesson. Kindly have all your images ready.
For students who failed to turn up for the trip, you are given another chance by going to Botanic Garden anytime this week to have your images captured.
